Feedback
To help me with my draft treatment ive had a few of my class mates give me feedback for my draft treatment so i am therefore enabled to make any necessary changes or improvements to some specific elements of my treatment. Hear are two examples of feedback i got given in order for me to make improvements.
Examples:
- I really like the idea of how your narrative is based on Megan's view point, as it deals with her daily problems and situations she faces in living a total different area. I also think the idea of different representations you have used. Theres a couple of elements you need to improve on what kind of music you are going to use and how it relates to the genre. Also i think you need to add more detail on the kind of themes in your film and how it relates to the genre.
Overall a good treatment, wish you the best of luck.
- I like how you have used the main character to relate well to the target audience, i think how you have done well to explain how you are going to show the situations she is in. I think if you had a fixed title then we could have more of an idea for the film and i think you could also add some more information on the conventions part. Overall i though this was a really good treatment.
They seem to really like our overall idea for our opening sequence and the situation that we have panned out for our main character. Also they have commented on how we have based many of our shots from Megan's view point which makes it different and interesting as the audience will get a better insite from the characters point of view.
Things they think we need to improve on our more detail on the types of themes we are having.
Also having a fixed title and music for our film.
The changes we will make are: When we finally think of a fixed title I feel it will give the audience a more better idea of our film and things such as genre and themes, so untill then we will have to keep working hard on thinking of an amazing final title for our final piece. Also with the music we are thinking of having one of our friends singing one of their songs. Reasons for this are that it gives the film more British Social Realism. Also makes it more natual and will be relating to the life of Megan.
